About Jamie

It can be difficult to reach out for support when life feels overwhelming or not the way you expected it to be.

Jamie works with clients who are experiencing anxiety, low mood, emotional distress or a sense of feeling stuck in patterns they cannot quite shift on their own.

Her focus is on creating a steady, supportive space where you can slow things down, talk openly about what is going on and begin to understand your experience without judgment.

Areas of Focus

  • Postpartum counselling

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Life transitions

  • Relationship distress

  • Emotional overwhelm

  • Feeling stuck or disconnected

Approach to Therapy

Jamie’s approach is warm, collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practice. She tailors therapy to each client’s needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

She draws from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), emotionally-focused therapy (EFT), mindfulness-based approaches and motivational interviewing.

Sessions often focus on understanding patterns in thoughts, emotions and relationships and helping clients feel more grounded, self-aware and able to respond differently to what they are going through.

Rather than pushing for quick fixes, the work is paced to feel manageable and supportive with attention to what feels most important for you right now.

Working With Jamie

Jamie has over 12 years of experience supporting individuals through emotional challenges, including depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship distress and postpartum adjustment.

She works with clients who often feel like they are managing on the outside while feeling overwhelmed or disconnected internally.

Her goal is to help you feel more understood, less alone in what you are carrying and more able to move forward with clarity and self-trust.
